Anyone looking up Spelpunt notices quickly: Spelpunt is a foreign operator without a Belgian licence. Hence, this is suited to the cautious player.

How the money moves holds few surprises here: bancontact and Bancontact Pay cover nearly every deposit, with a bank transfer as the only way out. The app once named Payconiq by Bancontact has carried the name Bancontact Pay since March 2026.
The Bancontact Pay ceilings are €1500 per transaction and €2500 per day. The money is available at once; on your account it usually appears after one to three banking days, on top of the processing time on the operator's side.

Limits, age and EPIS
The Belgian legislator approaches player protection notably strictly by European standards which feeds straight into your play limit. On any licensed site the weekly limit defaults to €200.
EPIS is the Gaming Commission's central exclusion system: one registration excludes you at once from every licensed operator, online and on-site. The entry point is the Gaming Commission. The age bar moved on 1 September 2024 from 18 to 21 for casino, hall and betting; only the National Lottery stays at 18. The bar is statutory, not a house rule.
What players ask us
Which payment method is best?
Yes. Bancontact and Bancontact Pay are the standard deposit methods; withdrawals go by bank transfer. Reckon on a minimum of around €5. A different name on the account blocks the payout.
Can I play from 18?
21 — that has been the rule since the 2024 reform, National Lottery aside. This is not a guideline but a statutory limit. This is verified at registration.
Is there tax on winnings?
No. In Belgium gambling winnings are untaxed for the player — the levy sits with the operator. At a foreign operator your tax position may differ. This applies to every licensed operator.
Can I change my limit?
Yes, €200 per week per site — unless you set a lower cap yourself. The ceiling counts per week, not per month. At unlicensed sites that protection does not exist.
